The role of HR has shifted from one of advisory to a strategic business partner of the Company with the focus on human capital. As such, the landscape have changed and demands Line Managers to play a more leading role in managing its subordinates where it involves coaching, counselling, disciplinary issues, evaluation, training and development of its subordinates. It is imperative that Line Managers understand what the job position demands to lead effectively with positive outcomes.
